Find out now the difference between Cachaça Silver and Gold

On the market, there are some types of cachaça with unique aromas, flavors, and colors. If you like this distillate, you may have wondered what’s the difference between white and yellow cachaça.

Cachaça Silver

White or silver cachaça is a simple drink that has suffered no storage or aging during its production process, without changing the color of the drink.

White cachaça usually has more intense, dry, and burning flavors and aromas and has an aroma and taste closer to sugar cane. It is the most common cachaça to accompany drinks, such as caipirinha.

Pitú silver is our traditional cachaça with high quality standard and unique taste and absolute sales leader. It is best served straight, ice-cold, and it is perfect when preparing Caipirinha and other drinks of your choice.

Cachaça Gold

Yellow cachaças were stored or aged in wood and after going through this process, they gain aromatic flavor and color properties. These properties vary according to the wood, and the time the drink has been in contact with it.

However, not all yellow cachaças have been stored or aged, and they become this color after the addition of wood extracts or caramel sauce, which makes the drink a little more sweet.

Pitú Gold is our premium cachaça 100% aged in American oak barrels for at least two years, where it reaches a golden color and an unmistakable fruity flavor. Remarkable and smooth taste with typical vanilla notes. It is best served straight, at room temperature or ice-cold.
